National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has developed this app to improve access for NHS staff in England to the British National Formulary (BNF).**The NICE BNF app is currently only available to NHS staff in England who have or are eligible for an NHS Athens password. To register for a NHS Athens account visit**To understand more about eligibility for NHS Athens at pharmacists, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who prescribe and administer medicines, the app provides easy offline access to up-to-date practical guidance on prescribing, dispensing, and administering medicines direct from the BNF.To use the NICE BNF app for the first time, you will need to enter your NHS Athens user name and password to activate the app and download the content. NHS Athens authentication will also be required to receive updates to BNF content. Please ensure you have an active wi-fi connection to activate the app, or to download content updates.Social care staff who meet the NHS Athens eligibility criteria can also download and access the content.
